The Conference Team
We are so excited to host the 2021 Central Atlantic Treasure Conference!!!
The Conference Chair oversees all other chair positions and is in charge of recruiting team members. She leads the weekly RLC team meetings and hold biweekly 1:1s with RLC team members. The Conference Chair also serves as a voting member of the Regional Board of Directors and gives RLC updates at RBD meetings. She is the main point of contact for everything regarding RLC 2021 unless otherwise specified.
Chris Lipari Pazienza
The Graduate Advisor supports the conference team in whatever way needed. He meets with the conference chair biweekly and meets with the other conference team members as well. He also oversees all alumni initiatives of the conference.
The Conference Advisor supports the conference team in whatever way needed. They meet with the conference chair almost every week and meet with the other conference team members as well.
The Finance Chair shall oversee all financial matters of the conference and submit monthly updated conference budget reports to the ADAF, Regional Director, and Regional Advisor. Additional specific duties are outlined in the CAACURH Policy Book, Title Seven, Article 1, Section 3: Conference Positions and Duties.
Case Western University
The Registration Chair shall oversee all registration matters of the conference and create the registration form. Additional specific duties are outlined in the CAACURH Policy Book, Title Seven, Article 1, Section 3: Conference Positions and Duties.
University of Toledo
The Marketing Chair shall oversee all marketing and social media matters of the conference. They will be in charge of all social media accounts and marketing materials used to promote the conference to the region (this includes designing the logo!).
West Virginia University
The Technology Chair shall oversee all technological matters of the conference. This includes the set-up and facilitation of boardroom, mass gatherings, educational sessions, and socials on Zoom (and the creation of Zoom codes), the creation and upkeep of a conference website, and creating our conference page on Guidebook.
University of Maryland-Baltimore County
The Philanthropy Chair will oversee all philanthropic initiatives for the conference. This includes determining what the philanthropic cause will be, how to engage delegates and reps with the philanthropy digitally, and what service projects will be conducted during the conference.
New Jersey Institute of Technology
The Entertainment Chair shall oversee large gatherings and social events for the conference. This includes planning Opening and Closing Ceremonies, finding a keynote speaker, and planning socials and entertainment for each day of the conference
Case Western University
The Programming Chair will oversee the process for obtaining and putting on educational sessions for the conference. This includes the timeline for submitting educational sessions, determining when educational sessions will happen, and selecting which sessions will be presented.
Spirit and Engagement Chair
The Spirit and Engagement Chair shall oversee all spirit initiatives for the conference. This includes tracking spirit points and spirit winners for competitions both prior to and during the conference as well as coordinating the process for roll call video and spirit banner submissions and presentations.
